Do you see support for English learners? I haven't noticed too much of it but when I do i notice that the teacher will say something in English  and then say it in Spanish  or a different  language. She also has things hanging on the walls of different languages that can help those that are still trying to learn English .       What are you seeing in your service-learning experience that is a result of Brown v. Board, Sputnick, and other historical events? After learning more about segregation I love seeing how far we have come. I love seeing student from all different races and skin colors getting along and being friends. The other day we talked about where everyone was from and it was cool to see how interested each student was to hear when someone was born in Africa, Mexico, etc. I feel that kids learn so much more when they are in an environment  with people that are all different because not only can they feed off of each other  but they can learn from each other .
